When you have a problem resolved on the mailing list, or a useful bit of knowledge appears (eg:- some really nifty shell script that someone posted etc.), feel free to add it to the KnowledgeBase, but please:

• Acknowledge people who provided you with help, or posted the original tips.
• If you are posting a summary, or a tip from someone else's post, clear it with the original sender first. Just a quick mail saying "OK if I put this on the KnowledgeBase" should suffice.
• If it's something that adds to an earlier post or tip in the knowledge base, edit an existing topic instead of creating a new one.
• Be sure to remove any email addresses -- nobody will thank you for bringing them spam!
