What is a Bring-a-Box meeting?

We have regular sessions on the second Saturday of each month. Bring a 'box', bring a notebook, bring anything that might run Linux, or just bring yourself and enjoy socialising/learning/teaching or simply chilling out!

These are very informal sessions - generally people bring in their computers if they have an issue and want hands-on help, or if they just want to show some cool new things they've found.

Another great meeting, with about 20 of us present, thanks to Nokia's hospitality and Bob's organisation. Out in the spacious atrium area lots of chat, activity with computers, the help-yourself freebie table was well stocked and off in one of the meeting rooms there were several presentations:

The meeting was somewhat quieter than usual, with no talks given, but lots of browsing each others activities and latest installations.

A well attended meeting, did anyone count the turnout? Probably around 30 people, lots of chat and interaction as well as the presentations going on in the second room. The last penguins to leave waddled out into a crisp autumn night around 6pm.
