About Me

I live in Brazil but used to live in Surrey and occasionally return, especially around SLUG meeting dates. I have used Linux since 1999 but am content to class myself as a newbie and will probably stay that way.

My computing interests are managing a virtual web server, trying to get the hang of "hello world" programming and the political side of FLOSS. When I lived in Spain I was the founder of the Fuengirola and Costa del Sol LUG which, sadly, is defunct. My main Linux distros are Ubuntu and DSL. I also use OS X on a MacBook Pro. My wife uses Ubuntu and we are a Windows free household. My Mac is now pensioned off so it is almost Linux only
