I am a Satellite and Broadcast Communications Engineer specializing in:
- Satellite system design and installation
- Avid Media Composer video editing systems (Avid Certified Support Representative - ACSR)
- Digital Video Broadcasting
- Video and audio baseband systems
- Data communications and networking
- Front line hardware and software support of Linux and
- Terrestrial microwave systems (conventional and digital PDH)
- Two-way radio systems

Paul's Computer Collection
Paul currently owns:
- Self-built AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1.4GHz tower (Supermicro 760 case, 512MB, SuSe 9.1)
- Acer Travelmate 4100WLMi laptop (1.5 P-M, 1.5GB, 80GB, Ubuntu 7.04/XPH dual boot) [Ubuntu]
- Fujitsu Siemens Amilo-D 8830 laptop (3.06 P4DT, 1GB, 60GB, Mandrake 10.1/XPH dual boot) *Broken*
- Two Intel Celeron 500 1U rackmount boxes with 256MB (max) each to be deployed as mail/web/file/fax servers.
