About Me

New to Linux, have had some form of Linux on my ten year old box at home for the last 10 months. Mint and Mandriva and a bit of Fedora, also a duel boot to Windows XP although I don't use that much now. I'm still confused about a lot of Linux, I had grown used to Windows systems. I can just remember DOS so command line computers are not scary to me. Linux Format magazine is goes over my head. I mostly reside in Nottingham, but am often in Caterham the LUG there all seem to be computer professionals, I feel like a child with a group of growups. Nigel
