About Me

New to Linux since buying Asus eeePc 701 4g, using amended kernel to allow 2Gb ram, now also running eeebuntu. Managed to install Ubuntu on Dell 1555 laptop only thing I haven't confirmed as working is the GPS on the wireless broadband module. Failed install on HP Compac Laptop no wifi. My children tease me about using Linux. I would like to set up a media network round the house using a Linux server.

Favourite Linux distribution

Ubuntu at present, as not tried anything else really.
