Bring-A-Box, Saturday 10th August 2019, Old Crown, Weybridge

This was our first meeting at the Old Crown, a successful meeting with about 15 of us and unlikely to be our last visit. For August the weather was unusually blustery, but within the room provided, no problem.

	In contrast, the balcony area outside this room, though sheltered, was entirely unoccupied, either by us or anyone else. Normally though this would be a delightful retreat and all those hanging baskets are just crying out for a project with a Raspberry Pi to control their watering.

	For those of us with a miniature version of Larry Ellison's Oracle yacht, arriving in style would be no problem.
Other liquid refreshments are also available. And so is food, of course. It was a successful meeting, with one of us even travelling all the way from Brazil. Surrey has links further than you might suppose.

We have regular sessions on the second Saturday of each month. Bring a 'box', bring a notebook, bring anything that might run Linux, or just bring yourself and enjoy socialising/learning/teaching or simply chilling out!

New members are very welcome. We're not a cliquey bunch, so you won't feel out of place! Usually between 10 and 30 people come along.
