Bring-A-Box, Saturday 9th February 2019, The Woolpack, Elstead
Our February meeting was in the Woolpack at Elstead, a new venue for us and one that we hope to return to. Not the easiest to reach by public transport, but of course car pooling via the mailing list solves that. There were about 15 of us, including some new young faces amongst us, nice to see fresh blood. Not that we're vampires! And indeed our appetites were well served by the Italian chef at the Woolpack, who produced generous sized authentic pizzas, as well as other choices, both Italian and English.
The tables had been set out for us, with us all facing each other, a plus, but perhaps more suited for a committee meeting because, with the seating backing onto the walls, it was hard to circulate. But another time we could no doubt learn from this and make some changes.
We have regular sessions on the second Saturday of each month. Bring a 'box', bring a notebook, bring anything that might run Linux, or just bring yourself and enjoy socialising/learning/teaching or simply chilling out!

New members are very welcome. We're not a cliquey bunch, so you won't feel out of place! Usually between 15 and 30 people come along.
