Bring-A-Box, Saturday 11th November 2017, Royal Oak
Another successful meeting, if rather cozy, with an area reserved for us with a table for 12 at the Royal Oak. Priscilla and John came with a Thunderbird problem, quickly solved. Mike had a tiny group of three components to be fitted together and soldered. QA was done under a bright photographic floodlight. And Halina installed dictionaries for multiple languages in LibreOffice.
We didn't resolve a UEFI BIOS problem on his laptop for Mike though. Food was good and reasonably priced.
We have regular sessions on the second Saturday of each month. Bring a 'box', bring a notebook, bring anything that might run Linux, or just bring yourself and enjoy socialising/learning/teaching or simply chilling out!
This month's meeting is at the Royal Oak Pub in Pirbright, Surrey.
New members are very welcome. We're not a cliquey bunch, so you won't feel out of place! Usually between 15 and 30 people come along.
