About Me

Amar Rathore is a founding member and SVP at CounterSnipe LLC. Amar is internationally recognized for understanding, developing and implementing technological solutions via a vast number of global partners and large enterprises. Amar has influenced some of the key technologies and their adoption by some of the major International organizations. For the past 5 years, he has been instrumental in the design and delivery of countersnipe network security software. Previously he was responsible for launching Foundstone (now part of Mcafee) software in Europe. Previously he worked in European Marketing and Support roles for National Semiconductor and Western Digital. Amar has built a large pool of knowledge of TCP/IP, NFS, X and IP security protocols and over the years, he has been a main speaker at some of the key international events, such as UKERNA, InfoSec, Windows EXPO, Comdef, and many other private venues. Amar graduated from University of Sussex with a BSc Honors in Electronic Engineering and is a Member of the Institute of Directors.
