About Me

I'm 44 and work in solutions consulting for Ricoh, I started off as a copier techie and got in to IT systems on the back of copiers becoming network connected around 12 years ago. My first computer was a Dragon 32 and I first encountered Linux back in 1999 with Red Hat, quickly moving over to Mandrake. Didn't use it much other than to understand what I needed to know(mainly printing and file sharing) and kinda lost touch before Mandriva. Got back into it again with Ubuntu Hardy (drawn in by the cube desktop effect of all things) and now is the OS of choice at home. Now year 2 of my subscription to Linux format.
