Discuss whether to provide redirects for old bookmarks

I don't think we should tie our hands in this way.  The home page is the base url, just as it was for the previous site (the fact that it then jumped to some cgi-bin/wiki crap address isn't our problem) and we're likely to do bring a box differently and should keep our freedom on that until we know for sure.
