Discuss whether to provide redirects for old bookmarks

Dominic writes (091030):

Both of the feed URLs (RSS and iCal) have been broken by the upgrade, could
these be fixed please? It would also be good to add in redirects for
commonly referenced/bookmarked pages such as the home page and BringABox page
that are now 404ing

What about http://drupal.org/project/linkchecker ? I have installed the module.  The report is located here: http://surrey.lug.org.uk/admin/reports/linkchecker

Where users can request new features (e.g.integrated flickr access).

Suppress 'read more' when there's nowt more to read

Stuff on the front page is displayed in 'teaser' format, with a 'read more' pointing to the full article.

But if there's no more after the teaser (i.e. it's a short article and we want it all displayed) there doesn't seem to be a way of stopping display of the 'read more'.

New Surrey LUG Website

tux paintWelcome to the new website!

It's still somewhat a work in progress but we have migrated practically all content from the old wiki and set up the appropriate formatting, modules and user privileges. However, this is only the start as we plan to introduce a number of new and useful features, all making use of the power of Drupal.
